Cancellation Policy

Counseling Policy and Procedure 1. Confidentiality: All information shared during counseling sessions is strictly confidential. Exceptions may include situations where there is a risk of harm to oneself or others, or cases mandated by law. 2. Appointment Scheduling: Counseling sessions are scheduled in advance. Changes or cancellations should be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a fee. 3. Fees and Payment: All fees are to be paid in advance or at the beginning of each session. Payment methods accepted include credit cards. Insurance is not accepted. Late payments may incur additional charges. 4. Non-Refundable Policy: All counseling services are non-refundable. Subject to credit if rescheduling is within 24-hours. No-shows will not be credited. 5. Session Duration: Standard sessions are 1-hour. Extended sessions can be arranged in advance, with additional fees applied accordingly. 6. Code of Conduct: Mutual respect and courtesy are expected during sessions. Inappropriate behavior or language may result in termination of counseling services. 7. Communication: Email and phone communication between sessions are limited to scheduling and emergencies only. Extended communication or support may require additional fees. 8. Termination of Services: Either party reserves the right to terminate counseling services with reasonable notice. Reasons for termination may include lack of progress, violation of the code of conduct, or failure to adhere to payment policies. 9. Emergency Situations: In case of emergencies, clients are advised to contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline. The counselor will provide referrals, resources and support as needed. 10. Record Keeping: Basic records of sessions may be kept for professional purposes and as required by law. Clients have the right to access their records upon request. 11. Feedback: Constructive feedback regarding the counseling process is encouraged. Any concerns or issues should be communicated promptly to ensure a positive therapeutic relationship. 12. Amendments to Policy: This policy may be updated periodically, and clients will be notified of any changes. By engaging in counseling services, clients acknowledge their understanding and agreement with these policies and procedures.
