The New Year often brings on new ideas, new revelations, new thoughts, new outlook and perhaps new relationships. We often embark upon these new things as a road that we will take without including the GPS of how to support and sustain what's new in your life. Healing is the GPS on our journey to a new beginning. As we think about the outer works of newness, we can't neglect what will help to sustain our vibrancy throughout the year. See below some of the 4 ways to obtain healing this year:
"The Power of Letting Go"
In order to embrace a new beginning, it's crucial to release the weight of the past. Start by acknowledging your pain and allowing yourself to feel. Understand that healing is a process, not an event. Begin by decluttering your heart, making room for the beauty that lies ahead.
Ecclesiastes 3:6 - a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away.
What time is it for your life?
"Cultivating Inner Strength"
Empower yourself with the strength to face challenges head-on. Surround yourself with positive influences and draw inspiration from your faith. Seek support from a trusted community, understanding that strength is often found in vulnerability.
Psalm 73:26 - my flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
How will you allow God to cultivate your inner strength for you today?
"The Beauty of Boundaries"
Creating healthy boundaries is an act of self-love. Learn to say no to what doesn't align with your well-being. Set clear expectations in your relationships, and let your faith guide you in maintaining balance and harmony.
Proverbs 4:23 - guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
What boundaries can I set this week that will support my well being?
"Stepping into the Light"
As the new year dawns, step into the light of self-discovery and purpose. Trust the process of growth, and allow faith to be the leading light that shines on your path toward a brighter, more fulfilling future.
Philippians 3:13-14 -  I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.
What are ways that you can grow towards your highest goal this year?
